摘 要:

生长调控因子(growth-regulating factors, GRFs)是植物特有的一类转录因子。它可以通过N-末端QLQ结构域与GIF(GRF-interaction factor)蛋白中的SNH结构域互作, 形成功能复合体, 共同参与下游基因的表达调控。GRF蛋白在植物生长发育过程中起到重要的调控作用。本文综述了近年有关GRF蛋白结构、基因特征、分子调控功能方面的研究进展, 以期为GRF蛋白的进一步研究和利用提供一些有益的启发。

Abstract:

Growth-regulating factors (GRFs) are the plant specific transcription factors. GRF interacts with the SNH domain of the GRF-interacting factor (GIF) by its N-terminal QLQ domain, in which a complex of transcriptional co-activator is formed to regulate transcription expression of the downstream genes. GRF proteins play important roles in regulating plant growth and development. Here, the research results published currently, including the protein structure, genetic characteristics and molecular mechanisms regulating gene expression of GRFs, were briefly reviewed. It is very significant to provide us with some hints and inspiration for further study of plant GRFs.
